The beginning was fuzzy for us, we knew we needed to do this, but we found out a full double-entry accounting system was not an easy feat to achieve. It was not an overnight project. In 2018, Vince and Arthur decided to start building this software at their own pace. During this time, there was a lot of sweat and tears; we just didn’t get it; we didn’t understand “Accounting speak”. When we showed a simple version of the software to Accountants, all they said was “it was rubbish” and didn’t meet reporting standards. So, we kept going back to the drawing board. We checked out millions of other accounting software, and they all seemed to be slightly different. After a few years of stress and constant tweaking, the system started coming together, it was by no means perfect and still has a long way to go. But finally in 2024, our hodgepodge group of solopreneurs – Vince, Arthur, Thomas, Ailene, Ramil, John, Hannah, Mark, Jet, Josh and Jacqueline decided it was ready to go into Beta stage. Since we were still a very small team with limited resources, we had to limit the number of users that could signup.
